Spirit has only one purpose: to extract you from the you that you believe you are in this world and take you back into the light and wholeness that is all there is and all that has ever been. The extraction process is highly individualized but is always a cleansing of the mind, a rinse that washes away all that is not of God. Let’s join in the “tractor beam of love!”
Unwinding from the World
That’s Just the Way It Is?
David speaks near Portage, Wisconsin about events along his inward journey, stating that first, it is important to realize that the problem is a perceptual problem.
Everything Is Reversed through the One Ego
David Hoffmeister shares the wisdom of a state of mind some call Enlightenment. He speaks at a retreat in Mallorca, Spain and reveals that perception is the projection of an inward condition. The body and brain and world and feelings are all projections of thoughts, and everything begins and ends in consciousness. The mind is literally teaching itself and this teaching is of the mind and not the bodies. Everything that seems to be an external cause is only an unreal effect.
Letting Go of the Human Condition
David talks about the undoing of accepted beliefs such as the laws of nutrition, health, and sleep. As we unwind from long-held beliefs about what our needs are as humans, we begin to feel the inspiration of the Spirit and trust that all of our seeming needs are always met. We are free to live in the joy!
Why Isn’t My Family Happy?
When you start to travel down a road of self-discovery, you might find yourself frustrated with family members who seem negative or fearful. Why isn’t my family happy? Why don’t they get it? Why won’t they listen? You feel like you could help them if only they would hear your insights. As Jesus said in the Bible, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers? … whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:48-50) How do family relationships change as you unwind from the world?
David Hoffmeister – A Course in Miracles
David Hoffmeister shares his ideas on a range of topics at the Swedish Peace House near Hoor, Sweden. David Hoffmeister has visited Sweden several times since 2006. In 2008, a non-profit Awakening Mind branch was established in southern Sweden to help bring David back to Sweden and Europe and to help distribute his teaching resources and materials in Europe. The ideas are based on the living experience of the principles of “A Course in Miracles.”
Release Specialness
Release specialness by forgetting the past, releasing it, and finding happiness in the present moment. Release judgment, give past and future over to God, and stop worrying. The future is a scam. “If there are plans to make, you will be told of them.” (W-135.23:2) Let Spirit decide for you.
A Cause for Rejoicing
It is time for rejoicing. Without the ego, there is only Oneness in the Quantum Field. This sounds boring to the ego, but in fact it is the natural state of a mind at peace. Contrarily, the ego plays a hoax on the separated mind, enrolling it with “shared agreements” about the external world, which can never be real. As we pass through the final thought systems that make us question if there is light at the end of the tunnel, it seems to require a sort of “blind faith,” and the ego would have us live the same mistakes over and over without questioning them. But as we relax into a life without worldly ambitions, there is great rejoicing in the kingdom. It is a cause for rejoicing.
Stressed about Money
The state of your bank account can seem to have a lot of power over your mental health. When you’re stressed about money, you might feel tired, anxious, angry, abandoned, or afraid about the future. Fear is tied into a belief in lack, so you believe you need things. Money buys things that seem to meet the needs. As you sleep in this dreamworld, money seems to sustain you. You think you need it. This is the compromise of the world that keeps you in fear.
Unlearning the World (Part 1)
David Hoffmeister talks about the second part of his book, “Unwind Your Mind Back to God.” Unlearning the world is unlearning the concepts of the world: comfort, security, possessions, and convenience. Once we seek not to change the world, but rather to change our minds about the world, there is a flow, you are the flow. With Spirit, everything is helpful. Spirit is performing a major convincing job.
