The way to receive the gift of happiness is to make a habit of living a Spirit-guided life. To do this we must recognize that the mind, not the body, is the decision maker. Our current perception shows us a fragmented world of fear and rage. So when confronted with a decision it is helpful for us to step back and ask “What is it for?” Then we can choose the Spirit’s purpose of forgiveness or undoing. We can choose to serve something bigger than our self. David and Frances continue on to tell enlightening parables about: opening to love, our one responsibility, Siddhartha and the movie, “Sully.”

Death Is Impossible – An Actual Experience
David Hoffmeister shares an experience he had while practicing A Course in Miracles workbook lesson 163, “There is no death. The Son of God is free.” He had the experience that there truly is no death and that death is the ego. A woman in front of David had collapsed on the ground and stopped breathing in the grocery store he was in while practicing the ACIM lesson. When David had the experience that there truly is no death, the women seemed to be a reflection of mind and simultaneously began breathing again. What does Jesus mean by, “There is no death. The Son of God is free”? He’s really saying, “There is no ego. The Son of God is free.”
What Thoughts Are Running Your Life?
What thoughts and beliefs are running your life? Do you think you need to act a certain way and say the right things in order to be loved? Do you think something bad will happen if you actually follow your heart? These people-pleasing mechanisms can be released when their underlying beliefs and assumptions are held […]
The Holy Spirit Teaching through Movies
David tells the parable of the Holy Spirit teaching through movies. The movies are “The Game” and “The Man Who Knew Too Little.” See also the Movie Watcher’s Guide to Enlightenment online at http://mwge.org for more movies and insights on how to watch them.
Experience and State of Mind
Spirituality has to be practical. We don’t really need another theology. We’re here to have an experience. A Course in Miracles says an experience will come to end your doubting. In heaven there are no concepts, but one concept that is still helpful while we are here is forgiveness. There is no thought of forgiveness in heaven; God does not forgive for he has never condemned. There must be condemnation first before forgiveness is necessary. The ego is a wish to be separate from God and forgiveness is a healing wish. Everything is mind. The question always comes down to, “What do you want?”
Simultaneous Time
Let go of linear time, past lives, and looking deeper at near death experiences. There is joy at starting to look at letting go of the body identity.
Know Thyself
To know thyself you have to let all scraps of duality (darkness) come up into awareness, so that they can be given over to the light in the mind. The temptation on the spiritual journey is to try to bring the light to the darkness, which is not possible.
Honest About Spirituality
There is no trace of individuality in the oneness of heaven. When you honestly express your divine spirituality, even with family members, you will attract joyful witnesses. People tire of metaphysics. Be happy and simple. Shine your light. Let Spirit guide you into fun.
The Happy Dream
The happy dream is a dream of non-judgment. People organize their lives based on false belief systems. Forgiveness is a belief system that swallows all of them up. When you experience forgiveness, you experience that all specific beliefs are completely untrue and so you are in a state of complete open-mindedness and acceptance. It is no longer possible to get into an argument because there are zero differences, zero opinions. Everything is you, now, in peace and joy. The perceptual dream is purified and that is the only dream there is.
Motivation for Life
You can live from inspiration by becoming a miracle worker. Trust Spirit and everything needed to convey the message is provided. In the beginning the ego resists being let go. Then it feels very natural.
