What if you didn’t believe in money? True generosity is a giving heart; it’s really a state of mind of being loving, joyful, and happy, and it has nothing to do with what we describe and define generosity to be in terms of the material world.
Fear of Loss
Heal the Sick and Raise the Dead
Part of the spiritual journey is to heal the beliefs in sickness, pain and death. These beliefs can feel very ingrained to a mind that’s identified with the body. It can seem frightening to take a closer look at these thoughts when we’d rather avoid them. When faced with thoughts of death it can seem intensely fearful, our instant reaction can be to distract away from the fear, but these can be used as mind expanding experiences. In handing all of our thoughts over around sickness and death we can let the Holy Spirit interpret and heal our perception around these beliefs to free our mind from suffering.
From Desperation to Inspiration
To go from desperation to inspiration is allowing yourself to be done through by spirit. In his book “Walden,” Henry David Thoreau wrote, “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.” This certainly applies to the human condition, which is a projection of the ego, or the belief in separation from God. Everyone who believes they are in this world has a deep, unconscious fear of God, which is experienced as a fear of future consequences. In David’s life, he began to recognize how much his life and his behaviors were motivated by this fear of consequences and how this was leading him nowhere.
Our Divine Life Insurance Policy
Accepting the Atonement for ourselves is the ultimate insurance policy. The Atonement is the perfect solution to the belief in separation. It will always bring us to safety. It will always bless us and lead us towards God’s Will for us, which is perfect happiness. Whenever the ego appears to tempt or threaten us, we don’t need to try to change or fix anything in the world. All we can do is change our mind about the world.
A Parable of Unwinding
“A Course in Miracles” teacher David Hoffmeister shares about the rapid unwinding process that Living Miracles Messenger of Peace Frances Xu went through. It can seem like the spiritual journey would be easier if your life situation didn’t have many of the trappings of the world, such as marriage, career, mortgage, etc. But actually, it depends solely on the desire of one’s heart! So, no matter what your circumstances, step by step, at whatever pace you are ready for, the Holy Spirit will unwind you from this dream! Enjoy this profound parable of Awakening!
Transcending a Personal Sense of Self
What am I identified with, right here, right now in this present moment? Could it be that there is an identification that has its own thoughts and its own feelings that isn’t me, yet I believe it is? Can I be that insane? No. It is only that I am believing in something that is that insane.
What Thoughts Are Running Your Life?

How to Be Free of People-Pleasing
The ego’s identity is very shaky! It is constantly searching for approval from the world. Notice when you are tempted to use people-pleasing in order to feel liked, or feel good about yourself. The only way that you can be free of people-pleasing is to get down to your underlying beliefs and assumptions. Simultaneous Time
Let go of linear time, past lives, and looking deeper at near death experiences. There is joy at starting to look at letting go of the body identity.
Including Everything In
David Hoffmeister speaks in New York City about reinterpreting “giving up” and “letting go” to including everything into the mind. The process is seeing that judgment and rejection are impossible. Discernment involves practical guidance to accomplish this state of mind.
