People are thoughts in the mind, they are not really people. People do not have their own private minds and private thoughts. And they cannot seem to exist outside of the One Mind. A Course in Miracles states that at no single instant does the body exist at all, it is always remembered or anticipated. It is the fiction of identity as a person that has to be forgiven, and that’s it. You can see as many thoughts as you want. You can watch those thoughts come by, come and go in your awareness. The ones that seem to be dead, the ones that seem to be living..there’s no difference. It’s artificial, birth and death. And responsibility, there’s only one that ACIM teaches us, and that’s to accept the Atonement.
Health and Sickness, Suicide, Trust < 5 mins, Cancer, Concern and Worry, Consciousness, Death, Dreaming, Fear, Fear of Loss, Grief and Sadness, Illusion vs Reality, Perception, Self-Concepts, Time and Space
Part of the spiritual journey is to heal the beliefs in sickness, pain and death. These beliefs can feel very ingrained to a mind that’s identified with the body. It can seem frightening to take a closer look at these thoughts when we’d rather avoid them. When faced with thoughts of death it can seem intensely fearful, our instant reaction can be to distract away from the fear, but these can be used as mind expanding experiences. In handing all of our thoughts over around sickness and death we can let the Holy Spirit interpret and heal our perception around these beliefs to free our mind from suffering.
Inspiration < 5 mins, Attack Thoughts, Authority Problem, Dreaming, Forgiven World, Illusion vs Reality, Jesus, Resistance
Do you think that feeling resistance on the spiritual path is wrong? What if it is really progress? If you truly do not know your advances from your retreats, how could you be sure of what is wrong or right? Jesus teaches that resistance is the ego’s interpretation of progress and growth. Reassess your judgment of any part of the healing and how it appears. Experiencing resistance on the spiritual path is just a misinterpretation of the feeling of being reeled in to truth.

All the pictures of your life are just like digital memories that you manipulate. The only lesson you need to learn is that you are the dreamer. You can stop trying to protect your dream.

What is “A Course in Miracles” (ACIM)? ACIM is a spiritual tool that comes from Jesus Christ. The Course is a practical pathway of forgiveness and love that uses the teachings of psychology, education, and Christianity. ACIM contains a Text that teaches the principles, a Workbook for practical application, and a Manual for Teachers, that we may become conduits for miracles. We need to remove our ego mask that covers our Christ Self.
Inspiration 5–10 mins, Dreaming, Identity Confusion, Illusion vs Reality, Stillness, The Matrix, True Freedom, Worthiness
David speaks at the summer “A Course in Miracles” (ACIM) retreat in Kentucky and talks about the symbols of the end of possession and ownership in freely receiving from and giving with the Holy Spirit. Only the ideas of God can be shared. These are the teachings and application of Jesus in a living experience.
Inspiration 5–10 mins, Atonement, Christ-Identity, Dreaming, Ego, Guilt, Responsibility, True Innocence, Truth, Unwinding from the World
The ego set up this world including the seeming responsibilities. Holy Spirit’s function is to unwind us from guilt of not giving over our peace when we interact with the world. Therefore the main function of teachers of God is to accept the Atonement for themselves. Always keep in mind that you are in Heaven, and you are never not there. The ego would say you have left, but that’s not the truth.
Inspiration 5–10 mins, Dreaming, Function, Memory, Mind Training, Movie-Watching, Quantum Field, Questioning, Roles
As in the movies, we forget the world is a dream. The illusion seems so real. It was made so we would forget who we are. From our little role our problems seem magnified. But we are called into a purpose, a function that will take us through a washing of our mind that takes us into a more surreal state. We let go of our conditioning and gain a fresh, new perspective on the “set.” We get into a rhythm of bringing our false thoughts up and out. Then, instead of defending, we experience peace of mind. When we have a charge, the way out is to question it. Reflect on it; notice your contraction. It has no cause; you can just let it go. You don’t have to think like that anymore.
Abandonment 10–30 mins, Desire, Dreaming, Ego, Healing, Holy Spirit, Mind Training, Miracle Worker, Perception, Responsibility, Separation, Split Mind, Trust, Unified Perception
If this is a dream, does that mean I have to take all responsibility for events in the world? Does “I am not alone in experiencing the effects of my thoughts” (W-54) mean I am responsible for an earthquake? The answer lies in “My Self is ruler of the universe.” (W-253) What we experience is what we desire. Giving and receiving are the same. The world is projected thought images. The world is not outside of mind. Our ego’s perception is fragmented and shows fragments, but they are all the same. Trust Spirit. With healed perception you see wholeness; you experience peace; you become a miracle worker.
