The world was made in hatred and as long as you think it can give you anything, you will continually see hatred. The purpose of forgiveness is to see the false as false. Give the world to the Holy Spirit.
When you look at all the wars and conflicts, whether it be interpersonal or psychic, families or societies, it is vicious. Even when you look at nature, it is cannibalistic. So on every single level that hatred and viciousness plays out.
A Course in Miracles teaches that the instant this world spun out, the Answer was given simultaneously. That Answer is a new purpose. This is the purpose you give to the world. Give the world as you perceive it to the Holy Spirit and ask to be shown another way. The purpose is healing.
