The Truth about Your Relationships — There is a strong belief in the mind that this world is real and that people are real. In fact, the truth about your relationships is that they are all a projection of thoughts. Once we can see this we can start to forgive the images that we see. Our aim becomes to see with Christ\’s Vision, to see the light in everything we come across. We want to see that everything is love and is wanting to show us our true Christ identity.
\”You\’ve got this mass ego programming going on in your mind and you don’t realize it, but the people you live with and interact with are actually you. This mass program makes them look like bodies instead of pure light and they take all these different shapes and forms. When you are plugged into this mass programming, you actually think they are other than you. The ego has tricked our mind into thinking that our brothers and sisters are not really the Christ but these dense shape forms. But there is a correction which Jesus gives [for this] and he states, \’When you meet anyone, remember it is a holy encounter. As you see him you will see yourself. As you treat him you will treat yourself. As you think of him you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself.\’\” (ACIM, T-8.III.4: 1-5)
