The mind-body connection seems to be real as the the mind is deceived into thinking it is a body, separate from other bodies. Mind and body have no meeting place. Mind and Spirit are one.

What is the body, what is the mind, and do the two ever meet? Jesus teaches that “the body is outside of you,” and “there is nothing outside of you.” Together this means that the body is nothing! Thinking does not happen in our heads, in our bodies. This is a kind of mental abuse that we run as a program to block the awareness that we are everywhere, beyond time and space.

When the mind gets caught up in intellectual defense mechanisms, the body can seem real. But thinking does not take place in the brain, or the head. Intellectualizing, a kind of mental abuse, seems to numb us. A step in the right direction is to start to feel and move past the numbness. Everything about the body is just a projection. The body can be used as a tool in Awakening and, when you continue to practice, the body will not feel at all. In a state of deep meditation you lose awareness of the body.

The metaphysics of A Course in Miracles remind us that thoughts produce feelings. Awareness of the body is unnatural; the body is just a projection of the mind. This is a practice that takes you to an inner awareness. When you have practiced well, the body will not feel at all. Don’t judge bodily feeling. A Course in Miracles guides us in to the experience that the body is nothing.

Mind-body-spirit connection is all part of the projection as there is no connection between Spirit-Mind and the body. The body seems to surround you, but there is nothing outside you.
