David Hoffmeister shares his ideas on a range of topics at the Swedish Peace House near Hoor, Sweden. David Hoffmeister has visited Sweden several times since 2006. In 2008, a non-profit Awakening Mind branch was established in southern Sweden to help bring David back to Sweden and Europe and to help distribute his teaching resources and materials in Europe. The ideas are based on the living experience of the principles of “A Course in Miracles.”
The special relationship is a futile attempt to complete your self by adding another self. But completion can only be found within your mind. Your relationship mirrors what is in your mind. Does it serve the purpose of projection and blame? Or do you use it to help you identify your own feelings, thoughts, and beliefs so you can turn them over to the Holy Spirit?
What’s the correct use of the body? What is it for? David Hoffmeister explains the practical application of “A Course in Miracles” by sharing a story about a friend who hypnotized herself to not see her body, and yet still had guilt to expose and release before experiencing the neutrality of the body and the disappearance of the universe. After this story and healing lesson, David shares the experience of the whole mind or forgiven dream in which there are no “parts” or judgments present.

The spiritual journey is fun. David gives examples of how the Holy Spirit uses symbols that we are attracted to, that help us arrive at an experience that is not of this world. We are entitled to miracles. David describes an experience where he goes into blazing light and all images are gone. We are not going to get hurled into heaven. We are preparing for it. It’s why we are on this journey, so that we can go into revelation readiness.
David Hoffmeister talks about the second part of his book, “Unwind Your Mind Back to God.” Unlearning the world is unlearning the concepts of the world: comfort, security, possessions, and convenience. Once we seek not to change the world, but rather to change our minds about the world, there is a flow, you are the flow. With Spirit, everything is helpful. Spirit is performing a major convincing job.
The ego itself is a death wish and any time you are upset or feeling “off-center” in any way, that is actually an experience of temporary spiritual death. It is a death of awareness in the mind and has nothing to do with physical death at all, which is actually meaningless. What seems to be death of the body is just a change of scene and has no bearing on one’s state of mind. Supreme joy and happiness would be the overcoming of death; not death of the body, but of one’s awareness of God and Reality.
We are all pretenders, all actors, and our daily life is a movie, a dream. The reason for your upsets is that you have been duped into believing you are a character in the movie. Your eyes give you a camera angle, one of the seven billion other camera angles on earth. Zoom back out to the Holy Spirit’s universal camera angle, the perspective above the battleground.
