“Who am I really? What am I? Am I a body?” In order to find true authenticity you need to see that you are not a body. The person construct is a mask that needs to be left behind. The ego hears this and says, “uh oh, that’s not good.” Forgiveness leads to the remembrance of abstraction. It takes trust to let go of personal pursuits and the things that you think sustain you. You are sustained by the Love of God.

Why Don’t I Feel Happy?
Have you ever caught yourself wondering, “why don’t I feel happy right now?” While you believe in duality, in the maze of space-time, you need help to get back to your natural state of true happiness. That’s where guidance comes in! It’s very practical. Henry David Thoreau once said, “most men live lives of quiet desperation.” Let’s take a look at those moments of quiet desperation! Do you ever feel bored or feel a dullness in your life? If you are not living a life right now that is consistently and supremely happy, you have some compromise going on in your mind. The sneakiest thing about compromise is that you don’t know you’re compromising!
Follow the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit sees only two orders of thought: love or a call for love. You as a person cannot make this distinction. Yet, this distinction is the gateway back to eternal life. Therefore, this important distinction is the Holy Spirit’s job to make for you when you surrender your will for His. This sends the mind into a state of humbleness where the prayer to the Holy Spirit is “show me.” Ultimately, we do not follow people, we follow Spirit. Not Knowing and Guidance

True humbleness is needed to see that “I don’t know.” The ego has no contribution to make to the truth. Your preconception of what you know is actually a block to true knowing. Guidance is the Spirit reaching you where you believe you’re at. But you first decide on what to do and then ask. This must be reversed in order to receive guidance. The ego wants you to be a slave to false cause and effect relationships.
An Invitation into the Mystical Experience
In this video, David Hoffmeister gives us an invitation into the mystical experience. Your true responsibility is not to judge anything that is happening in form. We learn to value presence and devotion rather than behavior. We want to live our lives with such devotion that we let all concerns of this world fade away. The ego’s identity depends on doing. It would be gone completely if there was no doer, and that’s exactly what happens. You remain as God created you. That’s the key.
Am I Dreaming?
Explore the analogy of Plato’s cave. The Holy Spirit will work with your mind to loosen your trust in things of this world such as money, medicine, economics etc. To come to the last filter means to come to the realization that you are dreaming. This world has no power to hurt you. Ask yourself, am I dreaming? The awareness of dreaming is the function of God’s teachers.
What Is Real?
All perception is fiction. Everything is mental, there is no objective reality. Manifest reality is not reality at all. David answers questions about what is real and how to experience True Reality.
Pure Trust
David answers questions about starving children and death of the body. In pure trust there is only life. Death is a misperception. The world is not an actuality, it is a misrepresentation of life; a mental trick.
Trust Completely
David talks about the removal of the last filter that covers over the experience of the truth of who we are. It seems we have to trust as we let go of concepts and beliefs and then, at a certain point, we have to trust completely to allow the experience of Lesson 50 “I am sustained by the Love of God” (W-50) to come into full awareness.
