“A Course in Miracles” (ACIM) teaches that time is simultaneous. To show the concept of linear time, David Hoffmeister uses a spaghetti string, a noodle. He says that we are like a fish out of water. Or, “a spirit out of spirit—on a noodle!” A spirit who has forgotten spirit and is on a noodle now; that’s pretty difficult. So, if you have had struggles and difficulties in your life, it’s not even surprising, because of the mind’s belief in time. In ACIM, Jesus says that the world was made as an attack upon God. Why would God send you to a world that was made as an attack upon God? That would be mean! Some people may say, “I didn’t ask to be here.” The answer to that is that everyone who believes they are in time asked to be here.
Reincarnation
Clairvoyance
Parapsychology (clairvoyance, medium-ship, remote viewing, astral projection, etc.) is just another mechanism in the Awakening. It is a symbol of mind the Holy Spirit will use to show we are more than a body. But ultimately, parapsychology is nothing but a made up belief system, another story. It’s all a dream! Jesus teaches in ACIM that the miracle shows that the false as false, and that there is no hierarchy of illusions. There is a helpful way to use this illusion while you still experience it: deny that it can hurt you. Watch your mind, watch your emotions, and if you have fear coming up, deny the belief that your error can hurt you.
Reincarnation and the Body
As long as we think that there is something in time and space that we want, we will keep changing the channel. Inspired by “A Course in Miracles.”
Bringing Karma to a Point of Decision
In this talk, David Hoffmeister shows us that the “karma” we seem to carry can be brought to a decision point. David Hoffmeister used ACIM as a tool in his Awakening, and now teaches Jesus’ message at gatherings all over the world. ACIM is a mind training map, showing the way to true forgiveness. Enjoy this talk on karma and forgiveness. Let’s wake up together! The repetitive situations associated with karma are a manifestation of the looping in the mind. This comes from believing in an illusory past and future which obscures the present. This looping can be ended instantly by bringing karma to a decision point. In this way, we can let go of grievances and forgive the world.
Having and Being
The word “having” is used very strangely on this planet, as a synonym for what you believe you possess. To the Spirit however, having is equated with being. What you have is what you are which is the Self as God created you. Therefore, you are in need of nothing. Love does not possess and Love is who we are. It is our identity, not something we possess, and this confusion is the central issue. Possessing involves “thing-ness” and a belief in parts. This belief in parts, and the possession of the parts, blocks the awareness of Love.
