When darkness comes up we need a Spirit-focused function to help us through. Giving our whole being completely to listening and following allows no room for doubt. Before our focus becomes consistent, we may experience fear. But once we say yes to Spirit and our function, our fear vanishes. When we follow every day, even every moment, it feels like a vacation. There is rest. Through joy, Spirit teaches how to be in the flow of forgiveness. We refer to this as being “done through.” Spirit moving through us feels good: to give love, hugs, clean, and cook.
Perfect happiness is God’s Will. Human beings don’t have free will. Resurrection is of the mind; it is not dependent on time or the body, but on willingness and readiness. The world reflects the desire of the mind. If we desire something other than God, it’s impossible to know our true nature. We must empty the mind of false desires for things and relationships in the world.
In the Living Miracles Community, we have a shared purpose to hear one Voice, Spirit’s Voice. This very clear guidance is for the whole. Everyone benefits from this guidance. This is different from how things work in the world; no one has to sacrifice what they need. Seeing this in action builds a very stable foundation of trust. We join together whenever there is a call or need for clarity. The strong call for high communication is paramount. The open mind receives everything from Spirit that is needed to complete whatever tasks it is asked to do. Joining is a sure-fire way of clearing the channels to the receptivity needed in order to hear beyond what the ego demands, to what the Spirit gently asks. The main focus is to know one’s Self. All is given for this one goal.
When you’re doing the work and fulfilling God’s plan for salvation, there’s never a sense of overload. You can do all things you’re asked to do. “A Course in Miracles” says, “It cannot be that it is hard to do the task that Christ appointed you to do, since it is He Who does it.” (T-25.I.1) That is the easiest thing in the world. You don’t need to do anything. Christ does it through you and for you. There can be no overwhelm in that. Only when you think you are the doer of these works will you feel fatigue. Paying attention to how you feel is crucial. It will show you when you are being self-dependent or Christ-dependent. When you are emotionally dependent on Christ, what more could you need?
Oneness doesn’t see symbols of hate or of love. Everything is Love. When you let go of limiting thoughts, judgment begins to dissolve. Picking up on others’ judgmental thoughts is a misperception. There are no “others;” the others are your thoughts. There are not multiple minds, there is only one mind. Personal interpretation is always false. Let the Holy Spirit interpret for you so that you can see truly.
How do you heal sickness? You have to go so deeply within in joining with the Spirit that you actually see the impossibility of sickness. How do you do that? First of all, if this world is a projection, the problem is not on the screen; you have to get it off the screen. Sickness is not specific, it is MENTAL. When you have brought it back to the mind you are ready for the next step: Atonement, salvation, resurrection.
David Hoffmeister shares a new perspective on health and illness. He uses hilarious examples to show us our belief in dream characters. When the definition of sickness is lifted right up to the mind we cannot but acknowledge that all sickness is fragmented perception. All illness is mental illness and health is inner peace. The healing is in seeing the world in a completely new way.
Health problems and challenges can seem very real. If you reel it back in, you can see that there are no health problems in the world. It’s a trick! It’s a big smoke screen. There are no health problems in the world. Health is inner Peace. The world does not have a cause. If it did have a cause, it would have a real effect and then we would be stuck.
The one good dependency is intuitive dependence. If you tune into spiritual practice, all things come to you. I ask God’s Will for me and I am provided with all that is needed to carry it out. The means merely shift from money to miracles. This shift will provide financial independence.
Have you been asking for a new perspective, a new way to see situations and people in your life? David Hoffmeister shares that you are addicted to a thought system and at any moment you can choose to ween yourself off of it. This points you in a whole new direction! We are addicted to judgment, the ego device that perpetuates the illusion of linear time. To heal this addiction to judgment we need the holy instant and our mighty companions.
