The ego needs the power of the mind’s belief. Expose your unconscious beliefs that feed the ego’s projection of the cosmos. Expose your secrets to the Holy Spirit and He will shine them away. Watch your mind, paying close attention to your upsets.

I Can Be Hurt by Nothing but My Thoughts
In A Course in Miracles, Jesus makes it clear that the ego mind is always defending against the truth, and that our defenses are like little “magic wands” we wave when the truth begins to threaten our sense of individuality. These defenses are always pointing the finger outside of our mind for the cause of sickness and pain, as if the images of the world are to blame. Yet the truth is that the world exists only as thoughts in your mind, and so mind-training leads to the realization that, as Lesson 281 says, “I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts.” (W-281) Such is Freedom!
From Doer to Pure Being
The body is part of a self-concept we could call “the doer.” The spiritual journey is a transition from being identified with the “the doer” to the experience of being “done through” by the Spirit in order to experience one’s Self as Pure Being. Trying to meditate your way to this state can be “tedious and very time consuming,” (T-18.VII.4:7-8,11) yet the willingness to be “done through” allows the Stillness to re-enter instantly and effortlessly. Such is the gateway to Joy and Pure Being!
The Master Switch
Tired of living in this world of change, decay, and fear? The master switch is in your mind. The entire cosmos is an illusion, and the way that you don’t admit that to yourself is by making levels in the illusion. “A Course in Miracles” quotes, “there is no hierarchy in illusions.” (T-23.II.2:3) This world is made up of levels, degrees, increments, and gradations. You can call these levels judgments and you can call them preferences. Do you order everything in your world? All of the things that you perceive as differences are really the same. You are invited to join Jesus in the deep pool of unified awareness.
How Can I Deal with My Rage?
In high school I experienced a lot of denial and repression. This had to be removed before I could feel my feelings. Although we were created in love, when we identify with the ego, we experience its feelings. As we peel away emotions, we encounter the ego’s rage. I went off into hermitage experiences to allow that rage to come up and to face it. During that phase I felt the trees and rocks could handle my anger better than people.
