How to Be a Mystic – Mystic David Hoffmeister talks about the importance of seeing what you value and whether it’s more important than remembering the Love of God. Becoming a mystic means valuing the Love of God above all else and releasing all worldly forms, desires, and expectations in order to live a simple life of mysticism.

What Is Forgiveness?
What is forgiveness? Forgiveness is about overlooking the seeming problem entirely. The Holy Spirit doesn’t want us to try to figure out what the problem is, He wants us to release this belief in separation and overlook the problem entirely to the light of the Atonement. That is what the Holy Spirit’s function is, to overlook the error and see only the correction.
How Did the Separation Happen?
How did the separation happen? This is a very common question for students of A Course in Miracles, but it is also a question that has no answer. To ask the question implies the questioner’s belief in the separation from God. The ego is the one asking the question. An experience will come to end all doubting, to end all questions. An experience that separation from God is impossible, and has actually never happened.
How to Become Enlightened?
What if you do entertain the notion of enlightenment? Some symbols and stories are about the possibility that you will become enlightened in a different Earth lifetime, and that it isn’t possible in this one. But deep down, there is a feeling that anything is possible. What if you entertain the notion of the Holy Instant as spoken about in “A Course in Miracles?”
What Is A Course in Miracles
What is “A Course in Miracles” (ACIM)? ACIM is a spiritual tool that comes from Jesus Christ. The Course is a practical pathway of forgiveness and love that uses the teachings of psychology, education, and Christianity. ACIM contains a Text that teaches the principles, a Workbook for practical application, and a Manual for Teachers, that we may become conduits for miracles. We need to remove our ego mask that covers our Christ Self.
The Happy Dream
The happy dream is a dream of non-judgment. People organize their lives based on false belief systems. Forgiveness is a belief system that swallows all of them up. When you experience forgiveness, you experience that all specific beliefs are completely untrue and so you are in a state of complete open-mindedness and acceptance. It is no longer possible to get into an argument because there are zero differences, zero opinions. Everything is you, now, in peace and joy. The perceptual dream is purified and that is the only dream there is.
Salvation Is in the Mind!
Salvation is like a needle in a haystack of false beliefs and it is our mission to find this needle. Every piece of hay which hides that needle is a thought based on a spurious cause/effect relationship: that anything of time and space can have an effect on our mind or upon anything else in time and space. Only the mind is causative and to accept this without exception is to accept the Atonement and remember true Freedom.
Freedom from Linear Time (Part 2)
What would happen to future goals and ambitions if you realized that the future is actually the past? As “A Course in Miracles” teaches, “This world was over long ago.” (T-28.I.1:6) When psychics read the future, they are actually reading the past because the future is past as well. As long as the mind is holding on to linear time, the prayer of the heart cannot be completely answered. But when we realize that the peace of God is all we want, all future desires are washed away, leaving the mind perfectly content in the present moment!
Freedom From Linear Time (Part 1)
The attachment to linear time is what produces the illusion of this entire cosmos and is what keeps us unaware of our Eternal Nature. Since our reality is Spirit, we will always feel like a fish out of water so long as we believe ourselves to be a human being in time. Just like a fish out of water, the human seems to flop around, shake a bit, and then die. But this unhappy dream is not real, and true freedom is ever available.
