What if the answer to every problem was so easy that it could not be missed? What if it was so available that it is always here now? “A Course in Miracles” teaches us that ‘… trust would settle every problem now.’ It is giving it to us real straight.
Enjoy this video with Enlightened ACIM Teacher David Hoffmeister. Filmed in Bryce Canyon, Utah, David descends the canyon as a metaphor for descending into the mind and shares his inner path to Enlightenment. This video contains teachings and music and nature scenes that inspire you to awaken in joy. Set to a backdrop of natural beauty, the adventure inward is made plain and simple and accessible. David uses beautiful Bryce Canyon to illustrate the journey into the mind that leads to the remembrance of God.
On the question of education, the deepest truest goal is consistent peace of mind. For decades, education has been seen as the answer to all the world’s problems. It hasn’t worked. Jesus says that you have over-learned an impossible lesson. You have taught yourself that you are separate from God and you perpetuate this. If you were a teacher and you gave a child an impossible learning goal, that would be cruel. A goal that could never be accomplished. It would ensure learning failure. The ego is an impossible learning goal. It is a goal of separation. If you continue with this you will never have peace of mind. And so we need to unlearn the thought systems of the world and anything that would perpetuate the separation. David gives an example of his grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia and seemingly remembered almost nothing but was very happy.
David recaps the zombie movie, “Warm Bodies,” and shows us that the story is not so different that our own as we wake up. We learn how to communicate, learn how to change our minds, learn how to forgive, and ultimately, learn how to love.
Healing can be fun! One purpose of these gatherings is to come together and share what works in order to save time for everyone. Our ultimate purpose is to awaken in God’s Presence as One, and the journey need not be difficult. As “A Course in Miracles” teaches us, we can become “happy learners” and allow the Holy Spirit to work with our mind in a way that gently turns our perception from upside-down thinking (ego-aligned) to right-side up (Spirit-aligned). All topics and questions aimed at this glorious goal are welcomed and encouraged!
David speaks about the healing/forgiveness technique called ho’oponopono. The words themselves are meaningless unless they come from the core, unless you are in alignment. When the mind is not trained however, words/mantras can help stabilize it.
