Salvation is always of the mind and is only accomplished through peace. You will not find salvation in time, and letting go of the world is never a sacrifice. How can it be a sacrifice to see the nothing as nothing and to embrace the everything?
Giving and Receiving
All the teachings of Jesus could be boiled down to just two words: “Judge not.” If we could simply be in a state of complete acceptance and allowance, the idea of a “problem” would be impossible! When we are content with “what is,” we are no longer looking to “get” anything from the world, whether it be attention, money, fame, possessions, or even companionship. Problems only arise when we have expectations about what should be given to us or what should happen for us. But without judgment, everything of time and space is seen as without meaning and the Present Moment is recognized as the ONLY thing that is wanted.
You cannot BUT be at the right place at the right time. If you could always remember this, there would never be the experience of stress. Like the song shared in this video says, “be gentle with yourself.” We often beat ourselves up for not being “as spiritual as we should be,” but to the Spirit, we are Perfect as our Christ Self. The dream character we believe ourselves to be is not real and can have no effect on our God-created Self. As “A Course in Miracles” says, “You are at home in God, dreaming of exile but perfectly capable of awakening to reality.” (T-10.I.2:1) Awareness of dreaming brings a state of pure contentment, for illusions are recognized AS illusions.
