David Hoffmeister speaks about humility and how peace, freedom, and intimacy are part of our natural birthright.
“… seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world.” (ACIM,T-21.in.1:7) Explore one of the most talked-about A Course in Miracles quotes: “The script is written.”(W-158.4:3) You do not have control over the script, but you do have control over your state of mind. Healing is of the mind. You made everything that your perceive with the body’s five senses in order to imagine yourself separate from God. The mind is reminded of this through many A Course in Miracles quotes, including, “Everything you perceive as the outside world is merely your attempt to maintain your ego identification,” (T-12.III.7) and, “Do not believe it (the world) is outside of yourself.” (T-12.III.9)
“A Course in Miracles” (ACIM) is a powerful pointer towards no-dual awareness. As ACIM teaches, the ego wants to keep its existence in place in your mind. To do this, it comes up with concepts of an improved “you,” and even with concepts of an “enlightened you.” Learn to watch these thoughts without reacting to them. Learn to see the false as false, and to be the authentic spirit that you already are and always have been.
As A Course in Miracles teaches, the happy dream of non-judgment is the goal; not God. As we release our beliefs and see through forgiving eyes, the Holy Spirit will provide everything we think we need. As we let go of judgment, the Spirit will work through us in a very beautiful and joyful way! We will experience the happy dream!
There are no people thoughts in Heaven; no body thoughts, preferences, or specifics. Align with Spirit and choose the miracles; the Holy Spirit’s perception of the world. The Holy Spirit has already overlooked the ego cause that made the unreal effects. Reverse amnesia: expose and forget the ego.
All objects are part of the self-concept. Jesus let the Holy Spirit give them back to him cleansed, all in one category: unreal. On the cross, he was no longer in the body; he did not see Judas as betraying him. The body (not the temple) will be rebuilt in three days. If you believe in unity and wholeness you see the real world. Although the body’s eyes report differences, Vision comes through the mind.
David Hoffmeister shares the steps of Awakening by using movie references to “Being There” and “The Matrix.” Raj shares a story of being directed by Spirit and following instructions, and of a free postage day in New Zealand that allows him to publish the magazine he was guided to take to New Zealand.
Movies are modern-day parables. Happy Feet is a story that gives us insights into finding the inner dance, forgiveness, and social commentary. Even though free falling out of old belief systems is a scary prospect, divine providence seems to slip in when we least expect it, and mighty companions show up to accompany us on the way.
