Violence is in the mind, not in the world. The ego belief system opposes oneness, opposes love, opposes God. The ego belief system is what is violent and abusive. Judgment is violent. Egoic perception is violent. Jesus gave us the two most helpful words in all of history: “Judge not.” Therefore, when you have a major upset and are perceiving violence in the world, the most helpful thing you can do for yourself is ask for help in perceiving differently. Only true forgiveness can heal the perception of violence.

Guidance A Course in Miracles, Accepting Correction, Christ-Identity, Duality, God's Plan, Guidance, Non-Duality, Right Mind vs Wrong Mind, Stillness, Symbols, Teacher, Time and Space
Duality is not real. Truth is beyond this world and nothing has ever touched it. It cannot be anything it is not, no matter how hard we try to put our meaning onto it. It remains perfection, free from our prying hands. God is not going to reach a point of giving into the ego, and say, “Alright already! My gosh, you’ve protested enough already for millennia. Have your fantasy world. Have your illusions. We’ll coexist.” Love is all there is, light is all there is. Perfect love casts out fear, so perfect light casts out darkness. It is not a dualistic compilation.
Living with Purpose 5–10 mins, Accepting Correction, Compromise, Error and Sin, Giving and Receiving, Grievances, Guilt, Illusion vs Reality, Jesus, Rituals, Sacrifice, Suicide, Symbols
Are you holding on to the belief in sacrifice? The ego-mind believes that sacrifice is possible. When you practice having the awareness that everything is mind, this belief in sacrifice comes up into question. How could sacrifice be real, if everything is mind? This questioning is an opportunity for a resurrection in the mind! Holding on to a belief is what gives seeming life to an identity that is separate from the Love of God. Therefore your true identity seems covered over by this belief, much like a cloud covers the sun.

Anger 5–10 mins, Accepting Correction, Beliefs and Concepts, Choice and Free Will, Ego, Expression Sessions, Metaphysics, Practical Steps, Self-Honesty, Separation, Theory vs Experience, Undoing the Ego
There is no true answer to the question, “How did the separation happen?” A short while into the scribing of A Course in Miracles, Helen and Bill asked Jesus, “Wait a minute! How could the separation have happened in the first place!?” Jesus’ answer was, “You can tell by your emotions that you believe it happened!” In this humorous and insightful video, David expounds on this answer from Jesus by explaining how the Course was written for the mind that believes in the separation and therefore must meet the mind where it believes it is. All the things of this world which hold no value are magnified by the ego as a distraction. It is an upside-down and backwards world we live in.
Living with Purpose 10–30 mins, Accepting Correction, Beliefs and Concepts, Choice and Free Will, Divine Order, Error and Sin, God's Plan, Guilt, Illusion vs Reality, Love, Power of Thought, Projection, Script Is Written, Separation, Shame, Theory vs Experience, Time and Space, True Forgiveness
The belief in separation is actually the belief in impossibility. The ego created the world. God did not create the world. You can’t connect a God of Love to a distorted perceptual world where there seem to be so many problems. We have a belief in the concept of duality. This is an error. This very error has to be exposed. We have to look at this error together and expose its falsity. This whole world was made as a giant hiding place. Duality is in the mind, not in the world. When the mind decided to take the idea seriously (forgot to laugh) the whole cosmos was created as a giant fig leaf to cover up the belief in shame and guilt. You have to look within and see and expose the shame for the nothingness it is instead of trying to project it into time and space. The problem is not time and space, it is in your mind that made up the belief. We need to release the error and realize that it has no consequence. The instant the error seemed to arise the Answer was given.
Inspiration 5–10 mins, Accepting Correction, Expectations, Love, Purpose, Spirit-Invitation, Spiritual Vision
Jesus says that the Holy Spirit’s lessons begin with, “To have, give all to all.” (ACIM, T-6.V.A) This parable by David Hoffmeister is a wonderful demonstration of this lesson as it plays out in his encounters with friends, Mary and Steve. As always, David offers so much love, wisdom, and humor as the Spirit just pours through him.

You have been reliving the tiny instant of darkness, over and over again. Now you’re aware of it and you can turn your attention away from it. Jesus is working to pull the deceived mind’s attention into devotion and love. You’re in heaven already, only you believe you’re still in the tiny instant of terror. You’re afraid of God’s Love. Here’s where Jesus takes you step by step out of this terror, back into Love.
Inspiration 5–10 mins, Accepting Correction, Beliefs and Concepts, Dark Night of the Soul, Fear, Separation, True Forgiveness
At first forgiveness seems to deal with specifics. As if something in the world had a real cause and effect. It may seem that something you thought you had forgiven reappears. This is an opportunity to go deeper in the mind to get at the very root of the seeming problem. One begins to see there is only one problem and one solution, not many differing problems. This is the good news!
