Love does not possess. Let go of your possessive ways: my wife, my husband, my child. Possession in this world is a cult of the mind. Possess, and you lose love.
The good tidings are: Freely you have received, now freely give. Share. This is radical but wonderful. Let go of possession of others, of things, even of “your” spiritual thoughts and your “cherished” memories. They keep you from remembering God.
