In A Course in Miracles, Jesus tells us the body’s eyes do not see and the body’s ears do not hear. It’s quite a trick when we’ve been associating seeing with eyeballs and hearing with ears. That is how thick the mesmerizing of the ego is. We have a deep underlying fear of real spiritual vision. The fear to look within keeps the ego in place. Starting to look within dissolves it. ACIM is a pointer towards non-duality.
