Forgiving yourself is releasing what you thought you did, exposing and letting go of all concepts of the self, and finally, accepting the Correction.

If we say forgiving yourself is forgiving what you thought you did, releasing what you thought you did, then it must be letting go of all self-concepts as well. What you’re left with is a vast experience of love and light. All concepts of self are like a mosaic that is pieced together to cover over that light.

Part of the process of forgiveness is one of exposure, of just noticing self-identities, which is really just noticing concepts and attachments. You want those to come up into awareness. This is the core of forgiveness.
