As the concept of family and special relationship is considered, it is important to understand the context of this world.
Many of us were raised to believe that God created this world. In the Bible, it says that God created Heaven and Earth. It also says that God created Adam. It talks about him falling into a deep sleep, but nowhere in the Bible does it say anything about him waking up. So Adam and Eve and all the other people are asleep and dreaming of a world that seems very real. And then in the new Testament comes Jesus. And suddenly it doesn’t seem like a man speaking any more—it sounds like One Who’s awake. For no man in history before said, “I and the Father are one.” And no one said, “Before Abraham was I AM.” And so he’s teaching us that we have a kingdom that is eternal. He’s calling us out of the world to live in eternity.
Now Jesus had Earth parents like all of us do. But at some point in his life he realized he was from Eternity. And he said, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.” And from that point on he never spoke about his human family at all. The only reference in the Bible is at his crucifixion when Mary appears. The identities we have on earth are personalities. Persona comes from the Latin word to wear a mask. So all human beings are Christ masquerading as human beings. As you awaken you realize that you never really had a mother or father. And if you have concerns for your biological family, that is still your ego believing in suffering. When you listen to the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit tells you that suffering is a call for love.
