In a very practical way, we can apply the miracle to physical symptoms. As Jesus teaches in A Course in Miracles, Lesson 136, “Sickness is a defense against the truth.” W-136 The real question to ponder is whether I want to experience the sickness or whether I want to experience the Christ. It takes a very deep tracing inwards of thoughts in order to see how it must be one or the other, but this kind of deep inner looking is well worth it!
