Dismantling the ego is a journey that is guided by the Holy Spirit. To the ego, the dismantling seems to be a big threat. But it is not an ending, it is an opening. You are opening to a completely new way of being.
You enter into the journey with out any clue as to where the path will lead. It is like a ride at an amusement park where the floor keeps dropping out, free-falling until there is nothing left to grasp. At times, many memories surface, childhood memories, dark closets, closed doors. It is about opening these doors until there is nothing left.
In some cases, certain relationships and even families may fall away. If relationships don’t serve the Awakening, they have no real purpose. It is not for anyone to decide; the Holy Spirit leads this.
“It is interesting, the lessons. Sometimes that happens in this life when you are on the spiritual journey: your entire world as you’ve known it—the people that you love or the people surrounding you—are part of a vibration that you are meant to completely drop below and leave behind.
“In some cases it is that way. They might drop out of your life really quick, for many years, or maybe for a lifetime. That’s just part of it. Jesus was talking about that when he said that in his namesake he will turn “man against his father, a daughter against her mother.” Matthew 10:35 He was saying that you’re going to go through vibrational changes that will take you deeper and deeper inside your mind.”
What the world thinks of as love will be seen to be something else. There is an unlearning that occurs, a reversal. Let the Holy Spirit lead the way and you will be guided into opportunities that allow you to release beliefs that glue the ego together. You will be guided into opportunities that can be used as lessons if you choose. Clear the mind, feel the joy and blessing of the emptying. It is not an end point. It is a transition.
