Accept yourself! What is your true Identity? When you identify with a body, with a past, with a memory, or untrue thought, it seems impossible to see your complete innocence. But you are not a small limited part of an objective time-space world, you are everywhere.
There is nothing outside of you. Christ consciousness asks your mind to accept yourself as an innocent child of God. Your identity is the Son of God. When you come to ACIM Workbook Lesson 36, “My holiness envelops everything I see,” you might just want to put the book down! My holiness? That’s going to far! I am not holy, and I’m not going to say that. The ego wants you to believe that claiming holiness is the most arrogant thing you can do.
“You have to accept responsibility for sight before you can take on the idea that, ‘I am the light of the world.’ (W-61) Because if there is something that is seen as outside that could be a detriment, what is it? What is it that is believed to have the power to bring you down? It is a big turnaround to see that you are the light of the world. I am the bringer of light. ‘My holiness envelopes all I see.’ (W-36) ‘My holiness blesses the world.’ (W-37) To be that being which is emanating holiness then there needs to be the purity and the acceptance of that holiness.”
