This world we see can seem very real, but, in fact, it is a dream. We may feel like we have many problems in this life such as money, relationships, jobs, family issues, addictions and all kinds of issues the ego wants us to believe we have. There is only one problem, and that is our perception. By changing our thought and belief system we can wake up from this dream world and change our perception to a happy dream. The ego would have us think that to escape the world as we see it is a very complex mission, whereas the Spirit would have us learn that it is very simple. Each time we take a step towards the happy dream the ego tags along in the hope of distracting us. It wants to keep us locked into our dualistic way of seeing the world through comparison, diversity, and multiplicity. When we come into a direct experience of a non-dualistic perception all comparison and judgments drop, giving way to the happy dream. This is a place of gratitude and thankfulness, knowing that we are not separate but are all one. “The ego is complex and the Holy Spirit is simple. The fragmented world of separation and distortion is complicated and the happy dream is simple. But it is so extremely, extremely, extremely simple that the only way you can experience it is through it’s simplicity. And you will be challenged by the ego at every turn because the ego doesn’t want you to experience that simplicity. Because it’s out of business, and never was, in that simplicity.”
Abuse < 5 mins, Abuse, Accepting Correction, Attack Thoughts, Conflict, Death Wish, Desire to Change the World, Ego, Fear, Grievances, Judgments, Movie-Watching, Non-Judgment, Perceptual Problem, Victimhood, Worldly Issues
Violence is in the mind, not in the world. The ego belief system opposes oneness, opposes love, opposes God. The ego belief system is what is violent and abusive. Judgment is violent. Egoic perception is violent. Jesus gave us the two most helpful words in all of history: “Judge not.” Therefore, when you have a major upset and are perceiving violence in the world, the most helpful thing you can do for yourself is ask for help in perceiving differently. Only true forgiveness can heal the perception of violence.
Living with Purpose 5–10 mins, Alignment with Spirit, Cause and Effect, Mind Training, Non-Judgment, Victimhood, Worldly Issues
Nothing of the world can give you peace and nothing of the world can take it away. It is purely an intrinsic matter. You will always draw forth witnesses to what you believe, and when you call forth ego witnesses, you need merely call on the Holy Spirit to help you see them differently.
Relationships < 5 mins, Collaboration, Illusion vs Reality, Intuition, Oneness, People-Pleasing, Private Minds, Private Thoughts, Quantum Field, True Helpfulness, Unified Perception, Worldly Issues
Interdependency is assumed to be normal and necessary at every level of the human experience, from interpersonal to international. But, in truth, it’s an ego substitute for the oneness of Spirit which is our fundamental, quantum reality. Human collaboration will never set us free from the human condition. True collaboration comes from following your heart and your intuition, and for this to be possible, there must be a shift in perception that sees there is nothing outside of you and that all minds are inherently interconnected.
Family Conflict 10–30 mins, Atonement, Children, Dismantling, Education, Family, Function, Happy Dream, Healing, Love, Miracle Worker, Motivation, Parenting, Purpose, Questioning, Reflections, Roles, Self-Honesty, Symbols, True Freedom, Unified Perception, Worldly Issues
Every symbol and image that you see with the body’s eyes is a reflection. When you look at a child, you can see the child as a mirror of your mind. Any grievances and limits you see in the child are within your own mind. If you are practicing ACIM and raising children, you see what is taking place in your thoughts. As children go through grade school and into high school, you can look at your own beliefs about authority, normalcy, education and success.

You have been exerting a lot of mind energy trying to find love, freedom, happiness, and peace in the wrong direction: the world. Put all of your trust in the Spirit, and look closely and honestly at where your mind energy goes. What are you invested in? What are you putting your trust in? Nutrition, […]
Living with Purpose 10–30 mins, Defensiveness, Identity Confusion, Purpose, Questioning, Transfer of Training, True Forgiveness, Worldly Issues
How do I live a better life in this world? How do I make more money? How do I stay young? All of these questions involve the world and the body. They are all defenses against Awakening. Every single question! Yet Jesus said in “A Course in Miracles” that there is one helpful question: What is it for?

Do you think something bad will happen if you actually follow your heart? These people-pleasing mechanisms can be released when their underlying beliefs and assumptions are held […]
Are altruistic attempts to help really helpful or are they a desire to make a contribution, to provide some helpfulness? The Course tells us that we are here only to be truly helpful and we can only know what is truly helpful when we are aligned with the Holy Spirit.
Inspiration 10–30 mins, Body, Death, Holy Instant, Time and Space, True Freedom, True Joy, Worldly Issues
Workbook Lesson 139 of “A Course in Miracles” states, “You are yourself. There is no doubt of this. And yet you doubt it.” (W-139.5:5-7) What’s the world made of? Death and sorrow. Yet, when we believe there is good or bad in the world, this is what the underlying belief is. All who come to this world come for death and sorrow. That’s the definition of coming into the world. You can call it what you want: incarnation or arriving in a hologram. Joys are so fleeting they cannot be possessed or even grasped. There are all these compromised wordily ideas which say “as long as you are here you are not enlightened.”
